William brings a depth of experience working with various groups and social purpose ventures to help enable innovative solutions to some of the challenges facing our communities.
Having served Vancity in a number of different leadership and executive roles over the last dozen years, William is currently the Vice President of Community Business & Investment, leading the area that supports Vancity’s business members via daily banking, lending facilities, cash management services, and innovative community investment vehicles to support local businesses, organizations and co-operatives that are seeking to grow sustainably.
William is a board member (and former chair) of Modo, a car-sharing co-operative offering 600 vehicles to a growing membership of 19,000 across Metro Vancouver and Vancouver Island. He is a recovering filmmaker, longtime blogger, seasoned speaker and dialogue facilitator. Most recently, he’s become an amateur music producer, proudly producing his son’s eight albums (and counting).
