Ethos Lab's mission is simple: improve representation in S.T.E.A.M. (science, technology, engineering, art and math) by empowering youth ages 12-18 to transform community and shift the culture within innovation.

The organization is working to solve key challenges, such as the ability to meet the diverse needs of youth today, the endemic lack of Black youth and girls in S.T.E.A.M. and limited access to innovative S.T.E.A.M. programming.

Ethos Lab offers youth weekly in-person and virtual workshops and events, mentorship opportunities and access to emerging tools in a tech-infused environment that is fun, encouraging and exciting.

In conjunction with Black Futures Month, Ethos Lab is launching a new fundraising campaign to raise $100,000 in 100 days from February through May, which will go toward sponsoring youth members, programming and operating funds.

Ethos Lab will also soon be opening the doors to its new 1000 sq-ft. physical location on 2nd and Main, owned by the City of Vancouver and operated by 221A Artist Housing Society.

If you are interested in closing the gap of equity within innovation and are passionate about building a responsible and inclusive future, please contribute to the Ethos Lab fund HERE.
