This Giving Tuesday, we’re excited to introduce our Collective Impact Funds, developed to reflect Vancity Community Foundation’s (VCF) new strategic plan and priorities. These funds are designed to make giving simpler, more impactful and rooted in trust.

Income from the Alfred and Marjorie Lam Endowment Fund will be used to support qualified donees as defined in the federal Income Tax Act, more specifically at this time to support the BC Centre for Ability and St. Helen's Anglican Church-Vancouver.

This Fund provides the physically challenged and or their families and friends, with wheelchair accessible and affordable respite housing for rest or short term lodging while attending hospital or treatment facility appointments. Donations to this Fund will help support provisions of accessible housing on Vancouver Island and grow to establish similar accessible dwellings throughout the province.

The McGill Ability Fund invites donations from persons who wish to empower disabled adults to strengthen their communities and the people who surround them.

The ICBC Endowment Fund For People with Disabilities supports the Planned Lifetime Advocacy Network Circle of Friends program.

The Ellie O'Day Arts and Housing Fund was established to support arts and housing projects. Grants from the fund currently support Performing Arts Lodges (PAL) Vancouver which provides housing to people in the professional performing arts, 55+, or disabled.

The Robert Chambers Memorial Endowment Fund was created by the North Shore Disability Resource Centre to support its efforts to provide pre-employment, employment and other services to people with disabilities and their families.
