This Giving Tuesday, we’re excited to introduce our Collective Impact Funds, developed to reflect Vancity Community Foundation’s (VCF) new strategic plan and priorities. These funds are designed to make giving simpler, more impactful and rooted in trust.

The Krannitz Family Fund supports charitable organizations devoted to environmental, wildlife, and humanitarian causes.

The Ken Lyotier Fund will support initiatives in the DTES which are intended to improve the quality of life for members of the community through social justice, economic inclusion, and social and environmental innovation.

The purpose of the Goodly Foods Fund is to generate income to support our programs, operations and activities that help grow our social and environmental impacts as a budding social enterprise that is repurposing surplus produce, creating unique employment opportunities, and feeding people in need.

Vancity Community Foundation supported ShredMasters to participate in a custom marketing workshop to build internal marketing capacity while completing a marketing plan. CSE also received support to hire a sales person to grow the client base for both ShredMasters and ValleyRecycling, a commercial and residential supportive employment recycling social enterprise the organization also operates.

The Swale Fund was created to support a variety of charitable causes, with priority given to social justice.

The Resilience Fund was created to support advocacy in a variety of equity and social justice organizations, including but not limited to Free Speech, environmental protection, poverty, education, First Nations, gender equality and disaster relief issues.

The Enchanted Forest Fund generates income to support various charitable causes. Preference will be given to support environmental causes, marginalized and at risk individuals, community economic development and humanitarian aid.
