The GVSCU Legacy Foundation is an independent, endowed Foundation. It was incorporated in 2009 in commemoration of the Greater Victoria Savings Credit Union and its long history of charitable work in the Greater Victoria area.

The purpose of the Jane Tyler Legacy Fund is to provide educational bursaries to low-income women who are single mothers to pursue a post secondary education at an accredited community college, university or equivalent educational institution.

The BC Farmers' Markets –Nutrition Coupon Program Fund provides an opportunity for lower-income families, seniors and pregnant women to buy fresh, locally grown food from BC farmers in 55 communities across the province.

The Vancity Humanitarian Fund was established in September 2015 in response to the Syrian refugee crisis and to provide ongoing support for organizations that address this and other humanitarian causes.
